The Return of Brian

"Removing the subject's heart." -- Roswell Alien Autopsy Doctor
"Take, I have four of them!" -- Dr. Zoidberg

I'm back! Sorry for the long absence. My health problems are working their way out; I'm done with surgery at this point, so I'll be posting more often.

I've decided to pick up Latin again. Blame the character "Daniel Jackson" from the show Stargate SG-1 and my coworker Kara's reading of Beowulf in the original Old English for filling me with the longing for my old language skills. I picked up Wheelock and some flash cards yesterday, and found some useful sites online that should help.

I've got a lot to do on this site; I have to add an interview I did in January with a local bookseller, and redesign, add graphics, etc. Watch this space.

Local Literary Event!

Michael Scott Moore will read from his South Bay-inspired novel, Too Much of Nothing, at 7pm, April 10, at Skylight Books in Los Angeles. I'll probably be there, so look for the bookish-looking guy in wireframes and say hi.

Something is wrong with your front page. All I see is the left-hand nav. You probably have an open tag or something. Excuse me while I catch up a bit on your life.
