It's like having a new computer! I'm posting this from Toybox, my new Linux installaton. Toybox and Unagi seem to be playing well together, let's hope that continues.
My advice for anyone out there who's thinking of installling Linux ... TEST YOUR CHECKSUMS BEFORE INSTALLING. The install procedure for Linux is very easy, and runs more smoothly than that for Windows, but I still had to spend a long time with it, because I skipped the checksum test and just leapt right in. That would have worked fine, if not for the fact that my first CD was corrupt. Four hours later, I figured it out and reburned it. It was a good thing to happen, however, since I tested the other discs to avoid more problems in the future.
