There are now 305 comments on this blog. 19 of them are from actual live people who were interested in the page and commenting on my postings. The rest are spam. I can't keep up anymore, mostly because I'm dealing with an old version of Movable Type that won't let me batch-delete comments. I know a way to fix the situation, but it may involve my breaking the site for a good long time in order to do it. There's a bright side; when I come back, I think I'll make this page more of a bulletin board and less of a blog. It should have links to all the local indy bookshops and a calendar of local literary events.
